Well, it looks like eye care professionals (in particular Optometrists and Ophthalmologists) will need to take a quick refresher course on the cornea. Dr. Harminder Dua of the University of Nottingham and his team have discovered a previously unknown layer in the clear window (cornea) that makes up the front of the eye.
